The Newton County Library is pleased to offer you access to ebooks and audiobooks available 24/7 from the library’s digital collection, Library2Go. This service, powered by OverDrive, is free with your library card.
You can browse the collection, borrow with your regular library card or eCard, and enjoy on your computer, tablet, smartphone, or ereader device. Most titles can be enjoyed immediately online, or you can download them for offline use, or send borrowed ebooks to a Kindle device. If you're on a computer, you may be able to transfer titles to compatible ereaders or MP3 players. For more information, visit Getting Started with OverDrive. This page contains detailed guides for many different types of devices.
The free Libby app is the easiest way to get started with digital books and audiobooks. For more information about the Libby app, visit Getting Started with the Libby App.
No matter how you access the digital library, titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period, typically 14 days. There are no late fees! You can also return titles early.
