Support the Newton County Library!
How Is The Library Funded?
The Newton County Library receives 1 mil in county taxes and State Aid to Libraries as designated by the State Legislature. This minimal funding must be stretched to meet all of our operating expenses, salaries to employees, public computers and internet access, and purchase of materials. We are committed to providing up to date services and materials to our community. The support we receive from the Friends of the Library and individual donations contribute greatly to the quality of our library.
How To Help?
Volunteer

The Friends Of The Library
The Friends is a 501C3 nonprofit organization that works for the good of the library and to promote reading and learning in the County. The FOL elects officers and works with the Newton County Library Board, which administers this public library.
